Age of Conan Noble District gank areas

There are two major areas that any long range class from rangers, ToS, PoM, Necros, and Demos can easily exploit!

The first and major spot that i find to help raise my KDR is by the second camp -before you enter the main city area - there is a large wall where you get on top of and stop everyone that has to go by in order to get to the main questing area.

In order to do this you climb on the junk by the wooden fence by the camp and face the small wall which when you press sprint and jump at the right moment you can get on top of! and there you are the first spot to help your KDR.

The second spot a little more obvious is past the first set of guards in the noble district, and you go down the bridge and there is a place to climb up on top of there is a great place to stealth and gank who ever come to kill the NPCs there which is really often. there you are two places to help get your KDR up

Age of Conan Necro Damage Exploit

This works best from 1-75. After 75, the damage is so small that it isnt worth the trouble. Join a mini game. Once you are in app'd level up to the max cast, cast all of your buffs and despoil the foul. You can quit the mini game now if you want. Your buffs will not drop when you leave...even if you are killed. You will have the damage bonus from despoil of your app level, not your actual level.

Kill Serurah Duo

I have done this with necro and TOS. Have the TOS in a pillar next to the door you came in. They will need to be as close to the ceiling as they can. Cast cyclones. Now, float the necro above the cyclones and start the encounter. Get out the necro pet. After the minions have spawned, they should stay in front of the mirror. She will run out and stick in the cyclones. Send in the necro pet and float the necro up to the ceiling and place him between the doorway and mob. Stop the cyclones after the pets get on her and run storm crown. Move TOS to necro. If you are in the right spot, only her knockback and root can hit you. You can get knocked back until you get pushed against the wall. The minions shouldnt move unless you get too close to them and Serurah shouldnt move at all. Kill her.

Age of Conan exploit: Max XP from power leveling

This is how i do this, im sure there are other ways that work just as good.

Things you need are:

• 1 lvl 80 necro(can only be one 80 in the group/raid)


• Group or a raid


• A little time


• A good spot to power lvl(DMC/East Ruins)

After you got you group/raid together head to your favorite plvln spot. Have the necro run get the biggest mob he can handle.


The idea is to get as many npcs/critters agro'ed to the lvl 80(Uses a AOE) then someone kicks the lvl 80 out of the group/raid BEFORE HE KILLS THE MOB. Once that is done everyone still in the group/raid will get the maxium amout of XP possable.

If you did this in like Onyx you can get like 6k-8k xp a kill
Dmc depending on what part and what lvls the toons are that you are power lvling ranges from 1.5k-4k a kill

Went from 50-60 in a few hours.

Solo all quests in the arena both solo and group as Necro

I recommend a level 50 necro so you can finish the entire quest line but this works for anyone taking the quest. Kick up the damage and bring anyone who can do ranged attacks. Works great with additional casters who have aoe.

After taking the quest. Walk through the tunnel into the arena and as soon as you enter take a hard right. You will see a gong and the roped off area that lines the arena from within. If you jump along side the wall and over the rope(again between the gong and the wall where you enter the arena from the tunnel) you can jump over the rope and achieve the same basic effect as casting from within a wall. The advantage for you here though is you can ring the gong and start the fight from behind the rope and send your pets it and not be touched as if you were in the wall. You can stand back with others with aoe and rain down dps on the mobs as your pets keep it busy. Whne the mob is dead simply walk through the rope and back to the quest giver to get the quest for the next fight.

Age of Conan Exploit: Solo Yakhmar

As of now (18th of Aug) it is possible to solo Yakhmar.

Prereq: aocbuddy (or another way to drop thru the floor, with max-zoom-out feature), 1 ToS, and 0 or more aoe dps with 20m ground target. ToS+Necro works good. Full set of +frost invul gems.

Issues and resolutions:

1. he resets to 100% life. However, ToS cyclones keep him aggro.

2. He keeps doing blizzard (700ish dmg), mitigated with frost invul. He keeps doing slam (2500ish dmg) mitigated with frost invul.

With one healer, 50% frost invul and adding necro absorb shield, this becomes no problem.

Time to kill: approx 4hr one ToS solo (dps comes only from cyclones and idol). Approx 2hr for 2xTos. Approx 1hr for 2xToS and 1xNecro.

Settings required: no particles, and no audio. By the end of the fight you will have hundreds of his adds, all increasing screen lag by a lot. Mitigated largely with min settings, no particles and no audio.

To loot must clear adds around the chest. Chars that are lvl 75-79 get about 6k exp per kill on these. Easy to get 70% of the level in 20 minutes by clearing all adds. Box seem to stay there unopened for 30minutes (haven't tried for longer).

Drops T1 pants and gloves.

Age of Conan Exploit: Solo Champion of the Honorguard

Requirements: Necro (and friends), way to clear first room (for solo, need aocbuddy)

1. kill spellguard in a group of mobs: dd him, drop below floor, wait for him to teleport to you. Run to about 20m distance, and dps him. He will teleport to you evey 60 seconds. Repeat rinse. If you're too slow and get hit with his aoe, you may die. Practice makes perfect.

2. shatter minion mobs from inside pillar.

3. wear out high priest (takes quite a while with one aoe dps class due to his repeated heals after he's below 50%).

4. honorguard resets. need to kite him. First clear spellguard and minions from the other side. The two remaining mobs will not aggro you while you kite honorguard from the first group.

Kiting routine (this should be common knowledge, but anyway): summon caster pets. I use Arcanists and/or Archmagus. Send pets on the honorguard.

Pillar in the middle has a cross (+) cross-section. You will run into the wall on the right side of the pillar (or west). When honorguard is at the right side of it, you will start running over the north side, to east (left) side of pillar, and rub into the wall. Wait for honorguard to take his long path around the south (towards the enterance into crypt) to get to west side of pillar where you were. By this time you are already on the east side of it. He repeats his run, you repeat yours. While pets are happily nuking him.

If you're using aocbuddy, permanent sprint helps. Practice a little. It is sometimes tricky to get honorguard into desired path, once there its quite safe.

It is possible to kill high priest this way as well, but he is a bit trickier to get into the right path.

Time to clear the room: approx 2hr solo. Additional dps (w/ aocbuddy) helps.

Pull champion of the honorguard. Kite him the same way around the same pillar. Time to solo him -- approx 1hr. Additional dps helps (aocbuddy not required for additional dps, however, they must not pull aggro).

Pulling champion: if you're too far away from him, he will throw his axe and 1-shot you (and then proceed axing the rest of the raid from any range). Aggro him from about 18m distance (when patrollers are out of the way -- or clear patrollers first). Wait for him to cast a spell, and start running. Run back to the pillar and start kiting, but maintain about 20m distance from him. Perma-sprint helps.

He drops T1 shoulder and boots.

Necro pet exploits

This exploit is most useful for grinding/loot/quests. It enables a Necro to kill nearly any mob in the game solo.

What do you need?
-A Necro with pets (the more the better).

Step by step process:
1.Find a mob you wish to kill.
2.Locate a spot the mob cannot get to (water, cliffs, rocks, walls, basically anything you can get to that the enemy cannot)
3.Send your pets to attack. Naturally the enemy will begin evading, but since your pets do constant damage they will reinitate the attack after the evading and kill them (sometimes the enemies will not evade at all).

Typically this works out without the enemies attacking you or your pets. The best possible senario is to initiate the attack yourself then move into position and throw the pets on. If you're in a spot where you can cast spells you can make the fight go faster (water makes it impossible to cast so the pets will have to do all the work).

This has been tested on high lvl and epic mobs. Careful going too high though as I've noticed if you go around 8 lvls higher the pets will only do like 1dmg per hit. I have not tested this on raid mobs yet, but I am sure it will work so long as you can find a spot the mob cannot path to.

As you run around zones keep an eye out for mountains, walls, water, ect.

Age of Conan Exploit: Use lvl 80 buffs as low level Necromancer

So yesterday I was doing the arena quest, some level 58 dude apprented me and I buffed myself up, all my buffs were the quallity of level 58 but I was only level 51.

Now this itself looks quite normal, but now, Necromancer have this spell :

Despoil the Soul (Nightfall Tree, Tier 2 or 3, not sure) Anyway, you can get this spell around 20

This spell sacrfices your pet points and gives you magic damage.
Now I am level 51 so I normally get 500 spelldamage of the spell, I let a level 73 apprent me, now I got 822 Spelldamage (WOOT)...

Now you leave the group, and tada! You hold your damage, (buff last 60 min), with this buff your dps is amazing.

Now the real stuff :

You get a level 20 necromancer with the spell, you let a level 80 apprent you, you buff yourself with this buff. And now you are a level 20 with 1000 spelldamage!!(This KEEPS lasting even if you leave the group)

Dark Knowledge and Vile Insight also work! They give you magic rating, this buff lasts forever so you get a level 80, cast it, and you hold this rating forever, untill you rebuff/remove (The buff lasts throught death,so you can practically have it from level 1-80 withouth removing)

AoC Exploits - Battle res yourself

All this requires is the conq to be grouped with a necro, and the necro to be using melee pets. There is currently a bug that makes it so ferocious inspiration stacks on the necromancer's melee pets as well as the conq. So if the conq goes down, the necro pets have the 10% chance to proc the battle res on the conq.
